While Nikon is more popular with DSLR cameras, their 1-series mirrorless cameras have become more talented since they first introduce in 2011. To make it more understandable for consumers, Nikon has divided its 1-series models into three segments. Entry level is called S-series, midrange is J-series and V-series for high end models. Nikon’s latest midrange product is the Nikon 1 J5, which looks like a classic camera at first sight. Inside its classic body, there are more exciting changes.
Nikon claims that Nikon 1 J5 camera is the world’s fastest continuous shooting with AF and the world’s shortest shooting time lag. It has an effective pixel count of 20.8-million pixels, and is equipped with a new backside-illumination CMOS image sensor and the new EXPEED 5A image-processing engine. Improved noise reduction functions enable even better image quality at high sensitivities. It is equipped with more shooting functions and effects such as seven new Creative modes, which make more varied photography fun and easy.
