Villa Kogelhofan is a minimalist house in Kamperland – Netherlands, designed by Paul de Ruiter Architects. It is special because Villa Kogelhofan is a completely energy neutral house that is built around sustainable living. There were about 71,000 trees planted in 2006 to prepare for the construction of this villa. The underground volume of the house consists of the entrance, garage, storage and a workspace which looks out over the pool. The floating living area is situated in the glass box above ground which includes kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, and a patio. It looks like a plane, ready to take off. Check out the photos below.
